Saba Neighborhood Yard Sale, 5/16, 8-12

5/14/2015

You are welcome to participate in our Annual SABA Neighborhood Yard Sale on Saturday, May 16 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. This will coincide with the Paddock Park and Merwood Civic Associations'  Neighborhood Yard Sales, so hopefully we can get some of those buyers seeking bargains.

We will include neighbors within our boundaries--Haverford Rd., Ardmore Ave., and County Line Rd, as well as the neighbors across Ardmore Ave., between Haverford Rd., and Elwell Field.

If you would like to participate, please give me your address so that I can include it on the list. If you want to set up a table at Normandy Park, let me know.

I will post a list of participating addresses on this website, and Facebook page/group (S.A.B.A. South Ardmore Betterment Alliance). If anyone wants to volunteer to advertise this on Craig's List, the Patch, etc., I always appreciate your help.

I will post a list at Normandy Park (corner of Oakford and Cricket). When I send out the final list, please feel free to print out copies to hand out to buyers.

And make sure to make signs for the main roads (it's helpful if you can include the words "neighborhood" or "multifamily").

Don't forget to take your leftover stuff to our neighborhood thrift stores or schedule a pick up from many organizations (e.g., www.purpleheartpickup.org).

Start digging through your basement and attic for those items you are ready to get rid of and good luck with the yard sale.

Please forward this to your neighbors who may not be on this list serve, and inform your elderly neighbors who may not have a computer.

If you can volunteer to plan this next time, let me know.

The new website is here!

5/10/2015

We just launched our all new version of the website.  This website is powered by Weebly, a special platform for building websites that will let us have multiple editors, and no longer requires me to be the sysadmin of a VM.  The benefit is that this substantially reduces our Bus Factor.

Oh, and iPhone/mobile device support?  We got that now:

We still kept the old website around, just in case there was anything on there that we forgot to copy over to the new one.  It can be found at http://old.sabanews.org/.

Have a look around, and let us know what you think of the new website!
