Scary incident on the bus path by Chestnutwold Elementary School

I'm interested in what people of the community think about this incident and what, if anything, can be done to improve the situation around Belmont Avenue, Morris Avenue and Pont Reading (the bus stop across the street from Chestnutwold) to deter/prevent crime in this area? Are you disturbed that a crime involving the use of a hand gun is being reported as a robbery? Do you know that of all the places in our neighborhood(between Ardmore Ave, Haverford Ave. County Line Rd. and Wynnewood Ave.) you have a 30% higher chance of witnessing or being a victim of crime at the intersection of Belmont and Pont Reading?

"Robbery at Pont Reading & Morris Roads on 9/12 @ 0019 hours - Victim reports while walking along bus route he was confronted by four B/Ms. One of the males possessed a hand gun and took the victims cell phone and wallet. Officers searched area and located a B/M/16 fitting the description. Actor was in possession of a hand gun and two cell phones. Juvenile was taken into custody and charged."
