Check your calendars and mark this one off as one not to miss. We will be holding our semi-annual creek clean-up, in the creek that runs along the Septa bus Route, in conjunction with a our local Cub Scouts from pack#132, all students at Chestnutwold Elementary School. We will also have a guest speaker to talk about our local watershed. I'll have further details about start times and meeting locations as we get closer to the date. Bill |

Hi All,
Here are a few more details about the up coming May creek clean-up:
For the creek clean-up, we will meet at Pont Reading and Belmont (near the SEPTA bus route, behind the school). Garbage bags will be provided. Remember to wear heavy shoes or boots that can get wet if you plan on getting in the creek with us. Every year, we are amazed at what we pull out of the creek, but every year it looks better with more healthy plant and animal
growth. This event is always fun and even somewhat educational for the kids.
