The Ardmore Initiative is pleased to present the 2nd annual Ardmore Blossoms event on Saturday, May 3rd 2008. This community celebration will take place on Schauffele Plaza from 10am-3pm with a rain date of Sunday, May 4th. Enjoy live music sponsored by St. Edmond’s FSB; shop our merchant’s sidewalk sales as well as local arts and crafts vendors and be sure to visit the flea market in Schauffele Plaza. In addition, there will be children’s activities, downtown clean-up with volunteers from The Ardmore Initiative and Rotor-Act, and the planting of new flower pots to place at participating merchant locations. Swain Techs is sponsoring electronics recycling, Pro Shred and SecurData Services are hosting paper shredding. The Career Wardrobe and the Junior League will be accepting gently worn clothing and accessory donations. Laurel House will collect cell phones for distribution to women in crisis. You can also rent a table and sell your unwanted treasures! Our goal is to make Ardmore blossom, one flower pot at a time! They are also looking for artists and crafts people : Call for Artists & Crafters! The Ardmore Initiative, Swain Techs, and St. Edmonds FSB is hosting Ardmore Blossoms on Saturday, May 3 from 10am-3pm in Schauffele Plaza in downtown Ardmore. (Rain date is Sunday, May 4) Artists & crafters are invited to purchase table/exhibit space to display & sell their work. This community celebration/spring clean up day will feature music, plants, recycling events, sidewalk sales, children’s activities and downtown beautification. Limited space is available for $40 per spot. Artists are responsible for their own display set up.
