As we did last year, we will kick off the year of SABA activities with an Easter Egg Hunt. Last year was the first time we held this event and it was a huge success. Many families and children came out and had a great time, especially when the Easter Bunny arrived. Photos from last year's event can be seen at www.sabanews.org/node/126 and there is a link to SABA's Flickr page for more photos.

As many of you know, every year SABA works to further improve the landscaping at Normandy Park. We do this with planting events in the spring and fall and some clean-up or maintenance events at other times. Last year, we began our efforts in the park with a clean-up of the garden beds and preparing various spots around the park for the spring planting event. That clean-up was combined with the Egg Hunt as a way of welcoming in spring at Normandy Park.

The Easter Egg Hunt and park clean-up will again be our way of welcoming spring and encouraging everyone to get outside and come together after a long winter with lots of snow.

The event will be at Normandy Park on Saturday, March 27 with a rain date of Sunday, March 28. (This is the weekend before Easter, like last year.)

The cleaning and maintenance of the flower beds to prepare them for a beautiful season of blooming and additional planting later on will begin at 10:00. If you have any questions about the park clean-up, please contact Bill Gardner at wingardner@earthlink.net

Starting at 11:00, we will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. There will be three different age groups so all the kids will have a fair chance to find some eggs and have fun. If you have any questions about the Egg Hunt, please contact Kristine Aylmer at aylmerfudge@yahoo.com

I am attaching a flyer for this event. Please share this announcement with your neighbors as not everyone receives these emails.

Hope to see you there.
