That's my fault. It looks like I configured an input filter incorrectly. I fixed that, which fixed your post, and promoted it to the front page of the site.

Did the water rise to the point where it flooded the basements along Ardmore Ave.? That was the worse flooding that I can recall. Hurricane Floyd created more damage because we lost power, and sewers backed up, but the volume of run-off was far greater during this storm. Thankfully that was not a typical storm for this region.
Yes, basements did get
Yes, basements did get flooded as well. Mine wasn't too bad, water came in but went quickly out- I have a drain. Some of my neighbors had to pump the water out.
Is this really Ardmore Ave.
Is this really Ardmore Ave. at the Haverford College Apartments, west of County Line Ave.? Where was I August 2? I did not think this was possible here - I live a block away on Cricket Ave. Was LM completely unconcerned about this because it is in Haverford Township?
Yes, this really is Ardmore
Yes, this really is Ardmore Ave. I live on this block. I was on my front porch at the time I filmed it. It was a flash flood and happened around 10:30 - 11:00am and went away rather quickly. If you slept late that day, you would have missed it. An hour later, you could hardly tell anything happened. This is Haverford Township so Lower Merion would not be involved. But I'm told, they had their share that day as well.
