Do you enjoy the Normandy Park gardens? Like to walk your dog at the park, or watch your kids play t-ball? Now is your chance to give back! A fabulous team of volunteers helped us spruce up the flower beds in the spring, but now the weeds are taking over. Can you give an hour of time to help us with a mid-summer weeding project? It's a great way to help with the park while getting to know your neighbors. Come by during any of the scheduled sessions -- we'd love to meet you!
Decorate your bike, stroller or scooter and join the parade, beginning at 10AM at Chestnutwold Elementary! We will wind our way through the neighborhood and end up at Elwell Field, where kids can compete in the "best-decorated” contest. Adults and kids can participate in field events. Hot dogs and other munchies will be available for purchase, but this is a BYOWB event – bring your own water bottle! We wrap up at 1:00.
There is no rain date. If the weather is questionable, please check this website or our facebook page (S.A.B.A. South Ardmore Betterment Alliance) to verify whether we will proceed. As in all the years past, we *need your help* for this event to succeed. It's a big day and we need lots of hands on deck.
